Not the best toaster

I bought this toaster at Canadian Tire just over a year ago. The right side of it doesn't work now and so the toaster is useless, as the right side has to work in order that the left side will work. They work together. It is too late now to get an exchange from Canadian Tire because it is over one year. I love the look of this toaster, it is cool to the touch, but I don't like that the toaster works as one unit. The two sides should be separate. Very disappointed in Oster.

C'est un 2 tranches déguisé en 4 tranches

Quelle déception! J'aurais voulu utiliser 1 côté pour le sans gluten et l'autre pour le pain ordinaire. Mais les 2 côtés fonctionnent en même temps! On ne peut pas utiliser le côté 2 si le côté 1 n'est pas utilisé. Et si on mets du pain dans le côté 2 après le côté 1, les deux côtés remontent en même temps! À moins de toujours vouloir faire 4 tranches en même temps - vraiment en même temps - c'est inutile. Très, mais très déçue.

inconsistent toaster

I don't like that this 4 slice toaster is controlled by one lever for both sides. The right side toasts the way I want it but the left side is almost burnt, not good. There isn't a way to fix this problem, therefore I would not purchase this model again.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Never did get toasted enough

I put it on the highest number. Never did really toast enough. Also agree that the controls need to be separate for the two sides. I'm returning it today.

Not toasting properly

Ok, this toaster is nice to look at, but in order to have my toast even lightly browned, I need to put it all the way up to number 8, otherwise toast come out just hot. So what are numbers 1-7 for?
And very slow. Also don't like that I can only use one side if I am doing 2 toast. This will wear out, and the side 2 will not work either. Design flaw?
