Very Effective

We had a couple of ants in the corner of the kitchen coming through a small hole down to the unfinished basement. I placed one in the corner of the kitchen, and one on the concrete ledge below. Later that night there they were covered in ants, and even showed a trail to the hole in the concrete where they were entering. After a couple of days they had carried the poison back to the colony and had almost died off. I used spray foam and old caulking to seal up all the cracks in that area of the concrete and floor joists. Thanks to the traps I knew exactly where they came in and problem solved.

Doesn't work on pharaoh ants!

My mother lives in a building that is over run with pharaoh ants so I bought a package with several of these traps and placed them around the apartment. I came back in a week and noticed they were still out of control so I place one of the traps in the middle of where there was a long line of ants walking and they all just walked around the trap! I even placed an opening right in front of several of the ants and none of them went inside! Maybe they work on some species of ants but definitely not pharaoh ants. So frustrating!

It is very hard to punch the 5 holes, I managed to get three holes open. I almost cut my hand. Need pictures on cover to show how it works. This product not effective. Didn't attract ants.

A: Ortho Ant B Gon MAX Indoor/Outdoor Ant Traps are closed units. An animal would need to digest the entire canister to get the chemical bait within. We recommend that the traps be placed in spots inaccessible to children and animals.

Q: We have cats, will these be safe in our home. We also have a paraoh ant infestation. Will this type of trap work on these types of ants?

Q: I have 4 traps out and the ants are not touching the traps...they are going around them. It's been 2 days since I laid the traps out. Is this normal?
