Je ne porrais pas comparer au aux filtreux, mais je le nettoie a peu près au deux mois et il ramasse quand même beaucoup de crasse. Asser facile dentretiens un bon achat.
ps, il semble bien filtrer la pourriture et les gaz fétides car les poubelles degage beacoup moin d'odeur quand il roule.

Happy with purchase

Happy with purchase. Bought 2 based on our satisfaction with one we have had now for a few years. But Cdn Tire's request that I review this item is a moot point as it is a 'discontinued'. But if you can find one elsewhere for an agreeable price, I would say...go for it.

Ceux qui ont écrits qu'ils étaient silencieux, je m'excuse, c'est le plus bruyant que j'ai pu acheté !
( j'avais l'impression d'avoir un '' fan '' allumé à haut débit dans le salon !!! )
Je l'ai gardé que 2 jours,
il était impossible d'écouter la T.V ???, tant il était trop bruyant !!!!

This is the 2nd one we have purchased. The first lasted over 7 years. They are a lot louder than any of the advertisements claim to be. NOT QUIET at all.

love this machine bought it because I love to smoke a nice cigar however not ever buddy that come over like this machine cleans the air very fast no more nagging from the wife now

A: It is quiet when set to minimal, but quite noisy if is set to Max. It does much more noise then purifying the air.

A: no - in fact if hair or particles get in it makes a snapping sound. The unit uses electricity to polarize molecules that get trapped on metal plates.

Q: 1. what is the units physical size? 2. can it be wall mounted? 1.The specs don't give the physical description of the unit. I want to know what it's measurements are? 2. The Kenmore models like this can be wall mounted, can the Oreck be wall mounted as well?

A: Cannot be wall mounted. unit is 18 inches long by 11 inches depth, 5 inches height - but that changes if you mount upright or on table.

Q: j'ai le purificateur d'air oreck pendant 4 ans et je le nettoyais chaque 6 mois pendant 2 ans mais je trouvais pas de poussières dans le filtre juste un peu dans le petit filtre qui ressemble a la moustiquaire et meme apres 2 ans sans nettoyages.
