Works Great

Bought this for backup during a period where our furnace was intermittently working while we waited on repairs. We're in a 2 story townhouse and the first night our furnace went down I set the heater upstairs at 24 thinking it might get us through the night...the entire upstairs was 24 degrees all night. Worked better than expected, great buy.

Surpris que des bonnes caractéristiques ne sont même pas indiquées sur la boîte d'emballage: radiateur infrarouge/céramique, lames de la grille oscillantes pour mieux répartir la chaleur, et un vrai bouton on/off (important pour moi). Je n'ai pas installé l'humidificateur, donc je ne peux commenter cet aspect.
Utilisé comme chauffage complémentaire, rend la zone plus confortable.

Got these on sale half price. Everything was in the box. I started out with one of these and both an edenpure and another noma large room infrared heater. Once I got this all put together it was obvious this one out performed the others. I repacked the noma large room heater returned it an got an additional two more like this one. I know it's suppose to heat 1000 but my three are in the kitchen living room and master bedroom about 680 square feet. Three is overkill I know but with the humidifiers all set at 20 they cycle on and off and the humidity does make you feel warmer. I'm sure my hydro will hit the roof but oil seems to be more expensive . Now it is really hard to get specs like number of bulbs and the ceramic convection feature not covered anywhere. Good heaters so far very silent.

In my search for a space heater, I was happy to find one with a humidifier as our office can get a bit dry in the winter.
The only downfall is that it requires distilled water as per the instructions so minerals from tap or spring water don't build up - which makes sense, just a possible additional cost to be aware of.

A: The unit will not turn back on automatically. It will stay on standby until the consumer adjusts the settings.

Q: Can I only use the heater and not install the humidifier? I bought this on sale and just need the heating aspect, No need for the humidifier,I read in the instructions that you have to install the humidifier. Can I just skip that, and run it just as a heater.

A: The heater can be used as Heater only. It is not required to setup the Humidifier or use the Humidifier while using the Heater.

Q: I have this heater, but one of the castor wheels has broken. Is there replacement castors available? unsafe for use in current condition. The castor broke while rolling it across the floor, from tile to hardwood flooring. It split into about six pieces. We have only owned this for about 8 months and it's been broken for about two of those.

Q: Does this heater actually use infrared rays to heat the room? Is it infared rays projected into the room that provides heat, or does the infrared just heat the ceramic core and then warm air is blown into the room?

A: The Infrared heating elements warm the air and then the fan motor circulates the warm air.
