A fine product, just not the one that I needed.

I bought it and unfortunately had to return it. It worked well, but made too much heat for our spare room. I thought that it came with a pipe to vent the heat outside, but it did not. Otherwise, it's a fine product, just not the one that I need.

Finally, a large water tank!

What I like most about this appliance is its large capacity water tank. I looked at several that only had tiny little water tanks! I don’t want to be walking up and downstairs to empty the water. The dehumidifier is also reasonably quiet as far as anything with the motor can be! It’s doing a very good job of Dehumidifying my basement.

Q: Where is the manual / user guide for Noma dehumidifier model # 043-8849-2. I called Noma and Canadian Tire support/Customer Support and non one was able to find a manual., They referred me to various web sites including 'manualib' to no avail

  • A: Incredibly noisy. The plastic housing rattles / vibrates when running. You can hear it plain as day two stories up when it is running in the basement.
