    Better than some new cams

I just picked this up on clearance from CTC after trying a number of newer models and the quality of the images are better than the newer cams. I have had Moultrie 55ir for 5 years and been very happy. I picked up a WoSports 12MP and the images were good but the night shots overly grainy and it went defective in a few days. Then I tried a Stealth Cam G30 the colors were over saturated and night shots washed out. I finally said back to Moultrie and found this one that is similar to the 55ir. Images are crisp and natural and the night shots clear similar to the older 55ir. Happy with this camera. I guess its true newer is not always better. Trigger speed is slower than the new around 1.5 second and moving animals can be blurred, but thats an OK trade off for me against better quality and usable images.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Moultree A5 Trail Camera

Picked up 2 of these and got a rain check for a 3rd. I have used Bushnell Bone Collector cameras for a two years on our rural acreage but we are having some poaching and I wanted more coverage of our 18 acres. Much larger than the Bushnell but super simple setup, I like something that doesn't require reading a thick manual to use. I will get a better idea of performance over the next few weeks but test images were good and sensitivity seems reasonable. Will do another review in a few weeks but right now I am thinking these are good value for a low end camera.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
