Don't buy it.

It stopped working after a year and i had just used 5 times only in whole year. I can not buy parts for it or can not fix it and it makes the craziest noise. No wonder its discontinued item. For a year it worked perfect the best it even crushed ice like a sand.

Blender came apart after 3 month of use

After 2 month seal starts to leak after a week from that plain bearing starts to make grinding noise. This unit is comming appart will return!

Did work for about a month problem free.... then the constant leakage and mess left from use has prevented us from pulling it back out of the cupboard. But being that we live an hour from the nearest store we never took it back yet.

Purchased in September 2016. Use pretty well daily to make a smoothie. 2 months after purchase there was moderate to severe leakage that made quite a mess. 3 months after purchase there was a black greasy liquid and/or small black particles on the base collar..it has gotten to the point where I have discontinued using. This is the noisiest blender I have had. I must say that I have had similar experiences with competitor blenders.

Q: Why is this item sold as a six speed ? It appears to only have high low and pulse thus only three speed ?

A: It has 6 speeds. Here are the directions: Press high, low or ice crush buttons to determine the speed at which you would like to blend the ingredients. Both the ‘On’indicator light and activated speed indicator light will glow. The blender will now be functioning at the desired speed. It is possible to switch speeds without pressing the On/Off button, by simply pushing another speed button.

Q: Can I use it to chop garlic like the Magic Bullet? It doesn't have to chop it perfectly as a food chopper though. Thanks!

A: You would need a food processor for that function. A blender's main function is to blend or mix soft foods and liquids, while a food processor's is to chop, shred, grate, slice or mix either soft or hard foods.
