I bought this about a month ago.Iused bulk filling first time Then I bought 3oz cartridge and it will not fit into gun.

Positive and negative

The unit works well at greasing. However, it is advertised as having a small 'lever lock' to hold the 'rod handle' back when a grease cartridge is slipped into the barrel. The lever lock was missing - it seems from all of the units for sale in the store. With someone holding the rod handle back a second person can slip a cartridge in, however, that is not how it is supposed to work.

A: You can use it on anything that has a grease fitting.

Q: Is the plunger supposed to slide along the inside of the cartridge to provide pressure? I used a Mystik 85g cartridge and the diameter is not large enough to allow plunger in.

A: Yes, how you described it is how this Grease Gun is intended to work. This product should work with a Mystik 85g cartridge. Please return to your nearest Canadian Tire store and they will be happy to exchange this product if it is defective.
