5 years agoA: MERCON V is an approved ATF fluid and is recommended for use in Ford vehicles calling for MERCON V ATF. For the 2009 Escape with 4 cylinder, consider using MotoMaster Synthetic Multi-Vehicle Low Viscosity ATF (946mL - SKU# 028-1579, 5L - SKU# 028-1575).

7 years agoA: MotoMaster ATF Mercon V is not compatible with Ford Mercon LV. Viscosity @100C for Mercon LV is 5.8 cSt and is lower when compared with Mercon V which has a viscosity @ 100C at 7.6 cSt.
