Q: Could this inflator be used to inflate a stand up inflatable paddle board if I have the proper connections? (Free flow paddle board)

  • A: I pumped my board up to about 4 PSI by hand, then connected the high pressure valve on this pump to an adapter and into my board. It took about 5 minutes to get my board to 13 PSI, which is the recommended pressure on really sunny days.

Q: What is the maximum pressure of the high volume side? A SUP requires 15-20 psi and a typical tire compressor is the wrong tool for this job. If the high volume tops out at ~ 1 psi then this is not the tool for a SUP.

  • A: I bought this to specifically pump up my SUP. The high volume would pump the SUP up to about 9 or 10 PSI but no further. I bought a special attachment to connect to the high pressure hose to get my SUP to 15 PSI but I could only get it to a max of 10.6 PSI. I had it connected & running for about 10 minutes without the PSI increasing past 10.6 PSI. I'm sure this pump works great for tires & other sports equipment, but it doesn't work for SUP's. So I will be returning this pump back to the store.

  • A: Nope! Even with an adapter. The hi-flow got about 4 PSI, at best. I have a 20 PSI board

Q: Dear CT team, the PDF for this product's owner's manual prints badly. It looks fine until you print. Please fix.

  • A: Chrome and Foxit Reader both experience the problem (which is: a version with the old MotoMaster logo also prints on the same pages, leading to superposition and a mess). Firefox's built-in viewer does not. (I haven't a working Acrobat Reader on this computer.)

  • A: This MotoMaster inflator is fused for 15A, and while it does not require 15A for continuous operation, we would recommend your power source is able to provide up to 15A peak power to start the motor.
