Smooth Shifting.

Changed the fluid OEM filter on a 6l80 transmission in my 2014 sierra, I had 100k on the original fluid and thought it was time to do the front and rear differentials and Transmission/ Transfer case fluid. The truck was not shifting all that smoothly before the change. With the new ATF fluid the shifts are very smooth, it's also full synthetic which is a bonus.

Synthetic transmission fluid is what I will using from now on. All the same benefits as synthetic motor oil but for an application that is rarely looked after.

Q: Many ATFs claim to be "compatible" or "suitable" but they are not officially approved and *licenced* as a true Dexron VI fluid. To be licenced the fluid just pass specific tests. Is Motomaster Dexron VI licenced to be a true Dexron VI or is it a clone?

Q: Is the Motomaster Dexron 6 approved for the Allison 6 speed automatic transmission that required the approved Castrol TranSynd TES 295 trans. fluid. The current approved fluid for the Allison transmission is Castrol TranSynd TES 295 automatic transmission fluid for 2007 and newer GM/Chev pickup trucks. Does the Motomaster Dexrox 6 meet or exceed the Castrol TranSynd TES 295?
