Used this on my 2008 Yamaha Bruin 350. Works good and it’s a better price than going to buy the brand name yamalube. Also bought a motomaster oil filter to go with it.

Q: 2001 Honda 450ES, I picked up some Motomaster ATV/UTV 10W-40 because it states JASO MA (wet clutch protection). I see from a previous answer from Canadian Tire, it is not recommended for wet clutch "not suitable for use in wet clutch transmissions" ?

A: Hello, thanks for your question! Unfortunately, the current formula for this product is not suitable for use in wet clutch transmissions. However, we are working on a new formula for this product that will launch in Q2 that will be suitable. Please be sure to check back in April/May timeframe where the features and benefits will be updated and the formula should meet your requirements.

Q: Motomaster ATV oil- after looking in the questions & answer section I am a bit confused. Your older answers indicated that this oil was good to use in wet clutch machines(which most atvs are) and in recent answers you say no. Has the oil changed recently?

A: No, while this product will most definitely protect any ATV engine, it is not specifically designed for peak performance of wet clutches.

A: No, it is not suitable for wet clutch applications. The current MotoMaster F1 10W-40 ATV oil is not a JASO MA product.

A: Hi Bobby, Thank you for your question! Motomaster F1 ATV 10W-40 is not compatible with Honda GN4 Wet Clutch Oil. The products should not be mixed. Honda GN4 10W-40 is designed for use in both the engine and transmission, thus suitable for wet clutch applications. Motomaster F1 ATV 10W-40 is a gasoline engine oil, but is not suitable for use in wet clutch transmissions. Thus, it is not recommended for use a Honda Foreman 450 ES.
