Garbage

Why are there no lawsuits against garbage like this?
Clearly this is a garbage product and yet Motomaster is allowed to pass it off as a working flashlight.
I got to use it all of 2 times before it stopped charging and went dead. No surprise I guess since this seem to be far more common than the people who seem to review it after a single use.

Junk

The price was right. I used it once and then set it in a dry & protected area, for the next time I needed it. The next time I went to use it, the light turns on for 3 seconds and then turns off. The battery is fully charged, the bulb is in great shape. It will not stay on. I guess, i got what I paid for!

the initial performance of the light was good. However, this only lasted for a short time period. My light looks almost new and has not been bashed about or misused. it is neither charging or working even after 24 hours of charge.

Q: Will the light work when the unit is plugged into the car?
It's proven very hard to find this information without buying a unit.

A: Sorry this answer is so late, but no, the unit will not work when plugged in to charge. The instructions advise that using the unit while charging WILL damage it. With a max 15 minute battery life per charge, it makes the unit virtually useless; NOT recommended for emergency situations (IMHO).

I love my flashlight, but the bulb has burned out. I asked the store staff where I could get a replacement, but they were not able to help.

Q: Is it possible to buy a car charger only for this item.
I no longer have a car charger for the spotlight 37-9466-2 and would like to replace it.

A: We don't sell the charger separately, and don't recommend to buy a charger in the market in case of any damages caused.
A: The voltage is 12V same as input when the DC charger is unloaded. If the DC charger charges the light, output voltage will be 6V.
