I've had the boots for a few weeks and have used them several times, digging around a foundation to renew perimeter drains. My feet are dry and comfortable. I'm happy with my purchase, and the price. Who knows how long they'll last but, so far, they seem quite durable. btw they're not rubber, they're plastic (PVC). They may actually last longer than "rubber" boots. I don't notice that they are any less flexible than my old rubber boots.

Q: Are these real rubber boots, or are they made from recycled plastic? The last pair I bought didn't last six months before tearing. I'm finding materials used in production are getting cheaper, but the price continues to go up.

A: I usually get a size larger so I can put on an extra pair of socks, so to be sure they are wide enough maybe you might do the same thing ? Even so they are very normal fitting.

A: From my experience the boots are 100% waterproof, although I'm not walking in them all day in water. I cut the tops down about 6 inches so they're more like slip-on ankle boots. For me, they're excellent when working around the yard.

A: The of the boot is hard rubber. It has a pattern of raised ridges so it will grip in soft soil. But it's too hard for ice. I cut the shaft down by more than a half and the boot becomes an excellent slip-on for work around the yard. But I don't wear them in Winter.
