Worked then didn't

I bought this as a replacement for my dad's drill that he bought from Sears in the 60s. That one was a Craftsman and work flawless until year when it finally gave up the ghost. Pretty good run for over 60 years. I bought my new Mastercraft thinking this one would last me a few years. Not so much. Lasted a little over a year when I was augering some holes in my wife's garden and it just stopped.... it just quit.. what a cheap piece of junk. very dissapointed
No, I do not recommend this product.

Purchased for use with a 1” auger bit

Drill head broke off drilling my first hole, the very first time using it. Had to argue with CSR to get my refund when I tried to return it 2 hours after purchasing. Despite the product having a 90 money back satisfaction guarantee. Eventually received a refund.

A: Not sure of the specifics you asked, but I bought it to drill through 16ea 6 X 6 posts with a 2" Forstner bit, some on angle and then level to accept rope railing down stairs. The drill didn't bind up once and I was able to complete the job in about an hour.
