missing 3mm but two 4.8

Bought it for one job and the 3mm size for 1/8 rivets was not there in place there were two 4.8 Useless

Appareil défectueux

J'ai essayé deux de ces riveteuses et les deux ont le même problème. Une fois coupé il est impossible de sortir le clou de mâchoires et ce même si on a mit de l'huile dans les mâchoires avant de l'utiliser et qu'on tire avec une pince! On m'a remboursé bien gentillement. Habituellement les produits Mastercraft sont bons mais celui-ci est mauvais.

Jams Easy - Unscrew top to remove jams

Tends to jam easily, I had a stuck rivet which I could not pull out only after using a few rivets. After trying to bang the rivet out from the top using a thin long screwdriver and hammer I noticed the top can be screwed out with a screwdriver letting the parts inside be removed. I was able to get my stuck rivet out but had broke a piece of the rivet gun inside rendering it useless. Moral of story look before you hammer. I'm going to wait for a better contractor grade gun to go on sale and buy it.

Probably managed to get max 50 rivets out of this before the thread holding the various sized heads stripped :(

Basic Riveter for Light Duty

9 years ago

Cheap, basic riveter for light duty around the house. If you expect this to do heavy duty work or a big job, you'll be disappointed. Had some sheet metal I had to rivet, did a great job with small steel and aluminum rivets. If you have a small, light duty task, it will work for you.
