    7/8” not 5/8” as described

    I bought this online a few weeks ago because the product description specifies they are sized for a 5/8” arbour. When I picked it up at the store the product is clearly marked as 7/8”! I brought this to the attention of the customer service rep who processed my refund and said she would advise their merchandising department. Weeks later it is still inaccurately described on the website. That is the reason for my one star rating as it might wake someone up at CT head office.

    I am a Canadian tire client I came looking for this product and I found it I asked two associates if it fits on Mi angle grinder they said yes. After bringing it home I tried the thread did not match so I returned it the cashier called the manager for approval He did not agree saying that it's opened I argued that how can I know if it fits without opening he didn't want to know.

    Q: bore size? Product description does not contain the essential info, "bore size". Is it 5/8", or 7/8"?

    • A: Thank you for your inquiry. The cut-off wheels and flap discs have a 7/8” bore. The wire cup brush and wire wheel have a 5/8”-11 threaded arbor and includes a 5/8”-11 to M10 x 1.25 metric adaptor.
