good product, only minor issue with double feeds

bought this a few months ago to install some cedar shingles on our shed. It was easy to load, adjust and use straight out of the box. I've only put about 1000 nails through it so far, and in that time there were no jams ... but at least 5 double feeds (I don't use the "bump" setting because I will hurt myself, so that wasn't the source of the issue). All in all, am very happy with the purchase. Because Canadian Tire has such amazing sales, I was able to buy mine for only a little more than it would have cost me to rent a coil nailer from somewhere else.

I was pretty impressed with this framing nailer. It is well built and very easy to use. It has great balance. Definitely makes jobs easier and faster. Great nailer!

Well build product

This is a quality built product and is vary easy to use. You can open the box load some nails plug it in and go directly to work with some quick adjustments to set your depth your ready to go. Almost anyone can use this nailer i was able to use it with a small portable air compressor with no issues. The only issue was trying to find the nails could only find a different brand and had to buy a vary large box to test it mastercraft does not make a nail to fit there product.

Q: Will the MASTERCRAFT MAXIMUM 058-8650-8 Coil Framing Nailer use spiraled nails?

A: For 058-8650-8 Coil Framing Nailer was produced in 2009 ,if the spiraled nails size meet 1 3/4 to 3 1/2,customer needs to use 110-120PSI to firing nails.

A: This product needs to be used with 15-degree 2 x 0.099" to 3-1/4" x 0.131", wire-weld-collated, full-head nails.
