Ensembles de scies incontournables pour un débutant. Très partiques et venant dans un étui à rangement.

Sale price is well worth it

I picked this set up at just under $20.00. Well worth it. I use each saw in the set.. In particular I like the back saw for finer cuts. I didn't need the carrying case nor did I need the drywall saw but I couldn't say no to the price. So now I have to store this large bag in my basement and my 5th drywall saw which you can pick up anywhere for a couple bucks. It just seems wasteful to me, but I guess if I were to ever have to run off somewhere and cut something for someone I could do it in style with my carrying case. Personally I would prefer just the saws as a package without the case and reduce the cost even further.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Nice set, Great price

I bought these on one of CT's deep discount sales, for around $20. I use these saws (except the small drywall saw) all the time, and they work well. I've been using them for constant home renos for about two and a half years. No problems whatsoever. Very durable and the cuts are clean. The only drawback I've noticed is that they're not quite as aggressive (fast) in making cuts as more expensive saws, but that's to be expected, right?

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Good saw kit for a great price

The woodcutting saws in this set are sturdy, sharp, and easy to sharpen. They are the best saws out there, but they represent great value. The 22 inch saw does great cross or rip cuts. The "agressive" saw has the same teeth per inch and teeth design as the universal saw and does fine cross or rip cuts. It makes a good toolbox saw. The teeth on both saws dull more quickly than my Stanley saw, but they are easily sharpened up with a taper file. The backsaw hasn't gotten as much use. We've used it to cut some simple miter cuts with a plastic miter box. The drywall saw still hasn't got any use. It doesn't feel as sturdy as my Stanley jab saw. You will find better saws at Canadian Tire (e.g., Irwin, Stanley) , but this set gives good value for the money, esp. when on sale.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: general Is there a warrenty on dulliness with the saws? How many teeth per inch do each saw have?

    1 Answer
    • A: There is no warranty on the dullness of a saw blade. Sharpness will be dependant on the types of materials you are cutting. You can take the saw to any reputable sharpener and have them sharpened.
