This air fryer replaces a 7 yr old unit which was heavier built. Pros: Very compact vs my old unit which has the same interior volume. Extremely quiet while running. Lightweight (1/2 the weight of my old air fryer) Viewing window was an unexpected surprise At this price point. Cooks frozen precooked food well. I haven't tried raw foods yet. Easy to clean. Looks sleek on the counter. Great value for a name brand. Cons: No inner basket but the design of the base of the main basket to swirl the air and the tray insert accomplishes the same. The burner element seems to be too close to the food which causes tips of the food to overcook. The work around is to flip your food when the audible alerts calls for it (not required with my old fryer) The touch sensitive buttons are not intuitive; some buttons can be touched and others require use of the arrow buttons. The gauge of metal used for the basket seems too thin to expect this unit to last more than a year or two.
