Pretty average but gets the job done

This isn't the greatest mirror -- the image is a bit distorted -- but for my purposes (telling if there's dye in my hair, etc) it works just fine, and the shelf for holding razors etc. is really handy. Stays in place pretty well, too.

Fairly average as shower mirrors go

I've gone through a lot of shower mirrors in my day, and I can tell you that this one won't overwhelm you. Having said that, it is fairly efficient. I started using shower mirrors to shave in the shower. They're definitely safer than traditional mirrors because they're plastic. If you're going to get cut shaving, it should be on your razor, not your mirror. Over the years I've installed six shower mirrors. This one is located at my chest height, but I have three others on the walls and shower door, one on the ceiling and one on the floor. As a competitive swimmer, it's important that I shave all body hair that can cause drag while I'm in the pool. With this configuration, I never miss any patches. The Loft U-Lock shower mirror serves its purpose, but if you want something that blows your mind you need a mirror with a decent extending arm - even though they are known to rust in the shower. Those let you see all the hard to reach places -- very versatile if you only have a shower stall.

very disappointing

Canadian Tire used to sell a great mirror for the shower. I had mine for several years and really liked it. But, the arm kept detaching from the mirror and it was time to replace it. Unfortunately, Canadian Tire stopped carrying that model. This replacement -- Loft U-Lock Shower Mirror -- was a huge disappointment. It feels like a Funhouse mirror. If you are not exactly in the right place facing the mirror, your face is distorted. Plus, you feel far away. It is pretty-much impossible to use this mirror when shaving. The only positive I can give this mirror is the suction cup that holds it in place. I returned the mirror and encourage people to not waste their money on this particular product.
