I bought this sink and it is pitted and rusting after one day. If you put anything in it, it leaves a permanent stain. I wish I could take it back but I threw the receipt out as I didn't think there would be a problem. Don't buy this product.

Low price but hard to install!

The bowl seems to be well constructed, however it does need to be installed carefully. The brackets attached to the bowl are made of flimsy metal and the anchors have to be put in the brackets BEFORE placing the sink in the cutout. This means the hole must be larger than expected. When tightening the anchors, watch the brackets closely as they begin bending before the sink lip is flush with the countertop! The bracket design and quality makes this a not recommended from me.

Q: Can I replace a single bowl sink with a double bowl sink? Is this possible as long as the outer dimensions were the same? Would we need to install double pipes to it or can we just use our exsisting pipes?

1 Answer

A: A double bowl sink will fit as long as the hole in the counter top is big enough. As for drains, since this sink as two bowls with two drains the customer will need to have two drain pipes installed along with P traps to prevent back flow of waste water into the bowls. The best advice is to check with store staff or local plumbing professional to ensure a good understanding of what is required to do a proper job.
