Perfect poach every time

It took a few tries to figure out exactly how long to cook the eggs to get them eggsactly as we like them but since then, it's perfect eggs every time. Pan holds up well and easy to clean too.

A: I placed mine in the dishwasher and the pan itself completely lost its polished shine. It became dark and now looks terrible. Do not place it in the dishwasher.

A: We had no problem, when we used it , with after taste. We used medium heat, so we didn't damage the pot or the parts.

Q: Can the KitchenAid 4-cup egg poacher be used for stove top frying? For instance - can you take out the 4 cups and cup holder and fry things in the bottom pan (reinforced non-stick system)?
