    Decent Light to Medium Duty Pressure Washer

    I've had my pressure washer now for three years. I've cleaned the siding on my home, cleaned the deck a couple of times and washed my car countless times. So far it has been performing very well. No leaks, no breaks, nothing. The only thing I don't do is store the Karcher outside. This ensures that no parts become cracked due to water freezing.

    Bought this unit two years ago after my Simonize unit died. I had stored my Simonize in an unheated garage but it lasted me a good five years. I took much better car of this Karcher unit, storing it inside in the winter and just started gushing water from inside the unit. I was told that it was not worth fixing. I thought Karcher was a quality brand but obviously not sinc it lasted half as long as a cheap Simonize.

    No, I do not recommend this product.

    Q: Will this work using a bucket of water as a supply? I want to use this in a remote location without running water. I have seen some pressure washers that you can run a short length of hose to a bucket of potable water and the pressure washer will suck the water from the bucket.

    • A: Yes Karcher Power Washers are self-priming …meaning that it could pull from a standing body of water such as a water bucket, a lake, river, etc…We would recommended that use at least a 5 gal (20litre pail minimum)
