Fantastic on the go Speaker

We bought the JBL Clip 4 as our corporate gifts this year. We went with JBL because it is a quality brand that delivers. My boss wanted to test one out and I could still here him jamming when he got to his office, and the volume wasn't turned all the way up either. Clear sound, perfect speaker for pretty much anywhere. Except national parks - don't be that person.

I don’t know. So I did three starts for now. It’s a Christmas gift so it’s currently under the Christmas Tree. It looks cool though but I won’t know anything u til after it’s opened.

Good speaker, bad battery life

Ive had this for a couple of months and the battery life has significantly increased from around 6 hours to 3 to 4 hours on a good day. Really sad tbh

A: I believe the LED indicator is the only thing that shows the battery level. The app is not compatible with this speaker.

Q: I tried renaming the Clip 4 via JBL Portable App but it does not recognize the speaker in-app despite my iPhone 12 pro max being connected to the Clip 4 for bluetooth sound. Is it supported in the app? If not is there another way to rename it?

A: Thanks for reaching out. Our JBL Clip 4 isn't supported by the JBL Portable App. However, you can easily change its Bluetooth name by accessing your phone's Bluetooth settings. Please ensure that your speaker is connected to your phone's Bluetooth before proceeding with the following steps. First, tap the information icon ("i") next to the JBL Clip 4's Bluetooth name. Then, select the "Name" option to change the Bluetooth name of your speaker to your desired name.

Q: I cannot get the jbl clip 4 to connect to my iPad Pro 6th Gen. works on my iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPad mini 5th gen. What the eff, I don’t see anything compatibility specs here to find out if it’s too old for the iPad Pro 6th generation. PLEASE help.

A: Thanks for your inquiry. We're here to help. Before connecting your iPad Pro to the JBL Clip 4, ensure no other devices are connected. Activate pairing mode by pressing the Bluetooth button once; the LED indicator should flash white. Please note that all Bluetooth versions are backward-compatible and can work with lower Bluetooth protocols. Despite the JBL Clip 4 having Bluetooth 5.1, it remains compatible with Bluetooth 5.0 devices like the Apple iPad Pro. If connection issues persist, consider reaching out to Apple Customer Support for additional assistance.

A: Thanks for your question. Our JBL Clip 4 doesn't support the Connect or Connect + feature, which can be paired with other JBL speakers. It can only be connected to one source device at a time through a Bluetooth connection.

A: Our JBL JBL Clip 4 is rated IP67 which protects the product from submersion in 1 meter (3.3 feet) of water for up to 30 minutes. However, continuous exposure to high temperatures may cause moisture inside the earbuds that can cause internal damage and it can't be used while swimming because Bluetooth signals cannot travel through water.
