Great cream whipper, much better than the store bought cream.

great whipper for fresh whipped cream. After coming back from a European trip where everything was served at cafe's using one of these whippers. I wanted one for myself but did not want to invest in huge amount of money for a professional model but wanted one that was still from a good brand. After some research, I found the isi brand is a popular whipper product. Canadian tire had this whipper on for a good price and thought i would give it a try. So far I am very pleased with the product and it works well.

Disapointing

Use to have a great dispenser that lasted me 20 years. This is not a high quality ISi product. Gas keeps escaping after using. Flimsy.

A: I was confused by the half pint being it's 20 ounces... in Canada anyway.. ...so thought I'd share what I found out... 250 mL of W. cream, or about 1 cup of W. cream, which is 1/2 U.S. pint ! Uses 1 N02 cannister. The following number of chargers will be required depending on the iSi Cream Whipper size: 1 iSi charger for 0.25 L and 0.5 L iSi Whippers 2 iSi chargers for the 1 L iSi Whippers

Q: I was just wondering if this product worked properly with sugar added to your cream or if you could only whip pure cream?

A: You can add sugar to the whip cream but we would not recommend table sugar as it is tougher to dissolve. Icing or simple sugar are great alternatives. As long as you do not use excessive amounts that could potentially clog the dispensing mechanism it will be fine. Hope that helps and have fun.
