The Ideal Security Decibel is a 100dB alarm deterrent designed to discourage tampering and unauthorized handling of outdoor equipment. It adds a strong audible warning and visible layer of protection for anyone securing valuable gear in open or shared environments. The flexible, steel-threaded cable allows Decibel to be anchored around poles, trailers, car racks, or other fixed structures, making it ideal for securing generators, power tools, kayaks, ATVs, or similar equipment. The back of the alarm unit also accepts screws, allowing it to be mounted as a more permanent fixture when needed. Built with an IP54 water resistance rating, Decibel is suitable for outdoor use. For the best performance, avoid prolonged exposure to direct rain or water. This versatile cable alarm features three trigger conditions: cutting of the internal cable strands, vibration detection (optional), and tampering with the anti-interference screw. When triggered, the 100dB alarm delivers an instant deterrent response. Powered by a single 9V battery (not included), Decibel operates up to six months on an alkaline battery or up to twelve months on a lithium one.

6mm thick cable combines three core cables each reinforced with seven braided steel wires, encased in scratch-resistant PVC - it offers flexibility for secure wrapping while maintaining tough resistance against cutting
Decibel safety alarm sounds instantly if the cable is partially cut or if the alarm box is tampered with, this includes any interference with the screws or any physical impacts, such as striking or shaking
