Saved my leg
a year ago
Trimming branches and the saw broke a dead branch. The chainsaw blade came across my upper leg. The chainsaw stalled out before I even knew what happened. These chaps saved me from serious injury and I never even got a scratch.
Spend the money on proper gear including boots. You won't be sorry.
