Best bang for the buck

I bought this case a month ago to fit a scoped AR-15, i also wanted something big enough to carry all my equipment in one case and it fits the bill quite well. Not only does it hold my rifle and 4 magazines but there is ample room for a pair of big binoculars, head set and protective eyewear plus tools i like to have handy when i'm out on the range. The build quality is superb, 2 of the 6 latches have a good quality locking mechanism and 2 holes for separate locks on the body itself. It meets an exceeds Canadian gun laws regarding transportation of restricted firearms. The 5 hinges are very sturdy and encased in plastic at one end making it difficult to tap them out with a hammer and nail driver for example. The case is undoubtably water proof although i haven't tested it completely submerged. Once opened the top part being as heavy as the bottom it becomes somewhat tipsy once the firearm is removed from the case, but quite manageable once you get the feel of it. The removable air foam squares make it easy to cut out and personalize the space for your specific content and doesn't require special cutter although a good "exacto" knife does a cleaner job. Just don't try to be too precise when removing some of this material and do not make it too loose either because once removed there's no going back. It's better to have your stuff tighter than too loose. The surface of this case contrary to some other product is smooth enough to slap on some stickers on the mid section between the elevated grooves. They adhere quite well and will stay in place for a long time since the groove protect them from being rubbed by other stuff. The wheels on one side make it easy to carry although it becomes a long payload behind you when walking. On the same note at over 56.5 in it is a bit cumbersome to fit in a car, it's just too wide to fit sideway in the trunk of a car. I have an SUV and still have to lower a back seat to fit it in my vehicle. Once at the range i must say it looks very safe and professional and quickly becomes a conversation starter. Folks ask about it all the time. I would definitely recommend this case to anyone serious about safe gun transportation and protecting their expensive "toys". It has nothing to envy more expensive cases especially at that price, i say go for it. I included pictures so you may evaluate if it would hold 2 scoped rifles for example. Personally i'm not sure, perhaps certain slimmer rifles than ARs could fit. You be the judge.

Awsome gun case

Daughter got me a gift card, so I bought this today. Would've bought the single, but it was just a little too short for intended rifle. The double is a little too narrow for two scoped guns, but I knew that. Pluck foam offers a nice fit for 3 different rifles I own. Bought on last day of sale, seems perfect! 4 stars only because it's too narrow.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great case when used properly

First off let me say this case is an excellent value. This is roughly $450 cheaper than it's Pelican equivalent. The build quality is great and the pluckable foam is easy to use. The only issue I had with the case was partially my own fault. I plucked the foam for my bolt action target rifle and made the mistake of plucking it so that the bolt knob and elevation turret on the scope were facing the bottom of the case. The foam is thinner on the bottom of the case compared to the side with the lid, so I should have plucked it so they faced up instead.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Best Case Canadian Tire Offers

Amazing case for the price I paid! It houses my 700 with a snug and safe fit! I don't need to worry about my rifle when transporting it. This is a special Remington 700, custom built for long range targets and I am very happy with the performance of this case and would recommend it to anyone looking for a tough durable case. I wont say it rivals a Pelican case because the Pelican's are military grade and designed to be beat up. Anyone on a budget looking for a case for a SINGLE LARGE CALIBER LONG RANGE SCOPED RIFLE.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Case review

You will have a hard time fitting two rifles with scopes in this case, as it is fairly narrow compared to other 2 rifle cases. It will fit two rifles without scopes fairly easily. It is built tough and the way the latches are designed make them tough and secure. Just wish it was about 4 inches wider to make it easier to fit two rifles with scopes. One can always remove the scope when putting it into the case, there is room to have the scopes in the case as well.

Yes, I recommend this product.
