Specially designed brushes are interchangeable and feature SpinScrub® technology to gently wash and scrub from all angles
Dual Tank Technology separates tanks for clean and dirty water, so you can easily fill, empty and rinse each tank individually
Clean water tank capacity is 1.5 quarts
Wash/Dry Mode Selection uses brushes to clean while suctioning up excess water in wash mode, dry mode stops brushes to suction up excess water and improve drying time

Q: I have a snap and click engineered hardwood floor that is not sealed. Will this product work on it?

Q: What cleaning solutions are compatible with the Hoover FloorMate® Deluxe Hard Floor Cleaner? Re-asking the question for clarity as the previous response appears to be recommending carpet cleaning detergents to be used on hard floors (instead of hard floor detergents).
11 years agoA: I do not like the smell of the cleaning solution, so have been using 1/2 cup white vinegar and water. I quite like the "clean" vinegar smell, and it disappears quickly when dry.

5 years agoA: Hi Melissio69, Thank you for your question. I am sorry to hear that you are having trouble with the Hoover FloorMate® Deluxe Hard Floor Cleaner. Most likely your unit is set for Dry Mode ; this will raise the SpinScrub™ brushes off the floor. Please ensure that your Mode Selection is in Wash Mode; it will then lower the SpinScrub™ brushes to make contact with the floor for scrubbing action. The Mode Selector is right above your Clean Water/Solution Tank. For any further issues, please kindly contact customer care support line @ 1-800-944-9200. -The Hoover Customer Care Team
