None of the Honeywell filters state size in the details ... it would be helpful.

Q: how often to replace a new pad? When do I need to replace a new pad and how would I know that a replacement is required? The reason being even a new/replacement pad looks dirty (has calcium-like material) on it to begin with, so I don't know if the pad needs to be replaced or not.

A: Most whole home humidifier manufacturers suggest that you replace it once a year. You can clean them if you want to, but the white stuff you see on the new ones is there to help the water spread out across the filter evenly for the better evaporation. That coating is also on there to help protect the thin metal material from corroding too quickly. If you try to wash/decalcify the filter (ie, try to clean it with CLR or something similar), you may end up removing/stripping off this coating, which would cause the filter material to breakdown faster than it should (sooner replacement). With that said, if you have soft or neutral water, you should be able to get 3 to 4 years of use before needing a replacement. For everyone else, unless you have very hard water where you live, you should be able to get at least 2 years of use before replacement. Considering that these filters are around $10 each, spending that once a year to get the best results and use/life from your humidifier is not that big of a deal.

Q: Will this fit a Lennox Humidifier, model HCWB3-17?

A: The size of this filter is 10”x9.5” x 1.5” and does not fit the Lennox HCWB3-17. The Lennox filter needs a 10”x13”x1.5” filter. CTC sku 064-3134 is this size and will fit your Lennox humidifier. We recommend changing this type of filter at least 1 time during the heating season (depending on water hardness).

Q: Does "Replacement Pad for 64-3122 Product #64-3133-4" fit Allaire 600 humidifier? Allaire 45 water pad, for Allaire 600 humidifier, also claims to fit honeywell humidifier.

A: The dimension of our replacement pad is: 10’’ x 9.5’’ x 1.5’’. This replacement must only be used on our whole house humidifier who works on a forced air system. The Holmes product mentioned in the review is a portable humidifier. We recommended that the you use the right replacement pads with the right equipment to avoid any issue.
