    Poor quality adjustment levers

    I've owned the saw for about a year and have used it infrequently. Last time I tried to use it the depth of cut adjustment lever broke, and I see at least one other reviewer had the same problem. This suggests poor material choice or a manufacturing problem of this part. Hitachi advertises "Levers are made from die-cast aluminum alloy for durability." Mine was not durable. I was happy with the saw, but poor durability makes this tool a poor value.

    I have owned several circular saws in the past this one is probably my favorite thus far. It cuts smooth and the dust discharges at the right angle to prevent it from being in your face.

    I like this new Hitachi Saw because it's so easy 2 operate !! My old arthritic hands limit me so much, and my older saw had a safety button requiring pushing before the blade activates from the trigger switch, making it awkward for me....but the Hitachi doesn't require this so it's easier to use, plus it's lighter than my old saw !!! Great Purchase !!

    This saw is wonderful, strong, light and user friendly. Its a monster compare to others, 15 amps of pure power. Nice case included. Hitachi are the best tools out there.
