Q: Dishwasher safe? Are the lids dishwasher safe?

A: Yes, though it may discolor them over time. And like any lock-seal sort of top, the rubber ring can get particulates underneath it which the dishwasher won't clean (though I've found this isn't a big problem with this line!). That you'll need to do by hand every once and a while.

Q: What size are these in inches or mm? Someone answered the question about sizes by listing the volumes, but I'd like to know the measurements of these containers in inches or mm.

Q: Why are the lids not microwave safe? The box says the lids are not microwave safe. Is it because the plastic can leach into the food like some plastics or some other reason like they become damaged? Other brands like Pyrex have microwave safe lids.

A: The lids are totally microwave safe. Since these lids are latching lids we say “microwave safe without lid” so that a consumer doesn’t mistakingly leave the lids latched while microwaving. Once unlatched, the lids are totally safe in the microwave.

Q: Why does the package claim to have a 25 year warranty? glass Lock packaging seems to claim to provide a 25 year warranty but the canadian tire website refers to a one year warranty provided by canadian tire instead. please explain.

A: Canadian Tire covers this product for the first year. The remainder of the warranty is covered by the manufacturer.
