In honour of the discontinued product

While moving this water cooler to its second location. I noticed the date it was made, December 2010. This is a 10+ year old rig and still running strong, functioning perfectly in every way it was intended to. Hot water, ice cold water, cold fridge. Just impressed It survived longer than some 1000 dollar fridges and it's still a convenience. Just to do this little water dispenser some justice I though I'd give it a review it deserves. Remember when looking at reviews the unsatisfied customer will always bash and the satisfied customer usually doesnt.

Leaked after 3 months!

Junk! Leaked 5 gals. onto floor overnight. Took it back and got different Garrison model and when we opened it we found the bottom hinge on the door was broken. Cooler is bottom loading with a pump and pump won't work without door because of proximity switch. Taped the switch down and crazy glued the hinge. Works, but wouldn't recommend Garrison coolers.

It is leaking!!!!

I bought this unit less then 3 month ago together with filtration system. Everything was fine until now. It is leaking from the bottom!!! Cold water... I gonna to go to the store tomorrow to change it. Not good moment for me...-(

A: My water dispenser was leaking for months-could not figure out why-bought a replacement 'tap' and when I took off the old one,found a small piece of plastic caught in the tap.It was a piece of the rip off protector from the top of a 5 gallon bottle of water.whoops-easy fix.Check the inside of the tap!Hope it helps!

Q: Do you sell the Point of use kit for this cooler. I have purchased this unit a few years ago. It has been working fine. We would like to connect our distiller directly to it that way we no longer would need to carry bottles. Do you sell the Point of use kit for this cooler?

A: Please note that there is no Energy Star for this product. And the Energy Star standard is under 0.81kwh/day and this product can’t meet this standard.

Q: Why does the warranty on an replacement not start again and goes from original date of purchase? The hot water on my machine quit working after only a month and a half. If this had quit a day before warranty was up do you really think one day would be appropriate for the new machine to prove it was not defective?

A: When a product is purchased, a portion of the purchase price is for the warranty on the product. When there is a straight warranty exchange, no money changes hands, therefore, the original warranty remains in place.

Q: Aluminum reservoir is cracked. No choice but to try and fix it myself now (was a gift - no refund). Any way to find a schematic showing replacement or removal bypass to use as just a regular cooler?
