I LOVE this fan!

I had this fan for 9.5 years before it stopped working. I used it daily every night when sleeping for all these years. It was powerful, easy to use, sturdy, very easy to clean, and just an overall awesome fan. My heart is broken that I can’t find the exact same fan to repurchase. I got such bang for my buck. It definitely punches above its weight class. It’s not too loud and gives the perfect amount of white noise for sleeping. And it never rattled. Just a well built affordable fan.

Best fan I have ever had

I purchased this fan a few weeks ago. It was quiet and very powerful. I took it apart to dust it and to my surprise it was so easy to take apart, clean and put back together. I am thinking that I need to buy a few more.

J`en ai 1 depuis 2 ans,et je l`apprécie tellement que j`en achèterai un autre dès demain ! Silencieux,facile d`entretien,très robuste,et surtout très silencieux malgré sa poussée d`air d`une force inégalée ! Autre atout considérable,il oscille soit de gauche à droite,de haut en bas,ou les 2 à la fois,ou pas du tout,c`est au choix ! Un peu lourd,mais c`est là bien peu dérangeant,puisqu`un appareil léger est d`autant plus frèle...Tous les foyers devraient l`avoir !

Q: Is the grill on this model just as easy remove in order to clean the blades and motor just as the more expensive fan which has more features?

A: Yes you can remove the grill to clean the blades. You can also remove the blades themselves! You assemble this portion when you get the fan so follow the instructions in reverse to actually remove blades, the grill is held on by metal clips that fold away quickly

Q: Thumb screw? I'm still quite confused by the thumb screw. I've popped the fan part onto the top of the pole. There is a groove in the pole, but the screw doesn't bite on. the screw goes in the back/base of the fan pole.... Help!

A: Hello, First step, put the fan body upside down, check and make sure both screw and nut are in place, if you can not find the nut, you can buy a new one(M6). Second, loosen the screw, put the fan head onto the top of pole, then tighten the screw so that the screw can press on the pole.

Q: How do I assemble my new fan? Garrison Pedestal Fan, 16-in, Product #43-5675-2 The 'thumb screw' supplied doesn't bite into anything and won't tighten in any way. Suggestions on how to fit the supplied screw to attach the top to the bottom of the fan?

A: Firstly, inside the rear control box housing, there is a nut located in a slot, make sure you can the nut is there. If the metal nut missed, contact the garrison service or find a similiar nut can match with the screw. Secondly, put the control box onto the metal pole, align the screw with the nut, then tighten the screw in to press onto the metal pole. Then the top had been attached to the bottom of the fan. Attached is a picture, which shows a similiar connection for reference.

Q: Didn't come with instructions Has anyone received instructions with the fan? I put it together all right however, I would like to read about the features. I love the fan so much!!! It's very quiet and so cool. I highly recommend it.

A: 3 SPEED CONTROL 0-Off 1-Low 2-Medium 3-High OSCILLATION OPERATION Your fan has three kinds of oscillation: up - down oscillation; left - right oscillation control and “W” oscillation. UP - DOWN OSCILLATION To make the fan perform the up - down oscillation, push down the up - down oscillation knob on the fan head. To stop the fan from performing the up - down oscillation,pull the up - down oscillation up. LEFT - RIGHT OSCILLATION CONTROL To make the fan perform the left - right oscillation, push down the left - right oscillation knob on the fan head. To stop the fan from performing the left - right oscillation, pull the left - right oscillation up. “W” OSCILLATION Push down the up - down oscillation knob and the left - right oscillation knob on the fan head at the same time, the fan will oscillate in a "W" pattern. HEIGHT ADJUSTING From the extension pole, loosen the height adjustment ring and adjust the internal pole to the desired height.

Q: Does it tilt down? I'm confused by some of the comments about its flexibility. Can the fan head tilt down? e.g. if you're sitting on a sofa and you want the fan to blow downward...
