Q: What are the dimensions for this sleeve? This gives me an idea as to how big the opening in the wall has to be. I am looking for a new sleeve for an existing opening.

A: Dimensions are: 25 1/2" wide, 15 1/4" high, 17 1/2" deep. #it doesn't show on the package or in CTC's web literature#. Doesn't show how to install air conditioner #A/C# into it. Instructions read: "The wall sleeve must be fastened in the wall securely before installing the new air conditioner." That's it!!! Air conditioner User's Manual #Garrison's# shows how to install every other Mfr's A/C except Garrison's. Go figure!!

Q: Is this for use with a window air conditioner? I know sleeves are used with A/C units designed for non-window through-the-wall installation, but you don't seem to sell those. So that leaves me wondering if this sleeve works with window units.

2 Answers

A: This sleeve is only used for "through the wall" air conditioners. Exhaust is out-back as opposed to side-vent used with window type. The side-vent would blow into the wall thus not exhausting properly.
