Best Stud Finder I've Ever Used!

Highly recommend this model due to its sensitivity (always detected studs even when other models did not) and numerous LED lights which made quick work of identifying center of stud. I appreciate that it holds a pencil and has a spirit level. Purchased this unit to replace one of the same brand and same model but with feature to detect live electrical which recently stopped working after several years of almost trouble free service. Only issue encountered prior to failure was plastic button cracked which needed a bit more force to get it to work which I continued to use in that state for several years. Glad to see Canadian Tire sells this model which was not the case when I bought the one that recently failed.

Q: can it detect wood studs through a wood wall

A: Depends how thick the wood wall is. If its just 3/8 or 1/2" plywood than yes. I install kitchen cabinets for a living and have tried many stud finders and this one by far bets them all. Its big and bulky but worth every penny.

A: Most definitely, theres a reason Franklin sensors are highly sought after,I like so many others used to buy on price alone. It wasn't until I had spent a great deal of time and $$ on cheap imitations, did I research what made this so much better than all the rest. Their patented 13 Sensor array gives them a distinct advantage of all others. What are you waiting forget out and buy the BEST Stud Sensor on the market, You Won't regret it!!

A: Yes, the image is of a different model. The M210 has 13 sensors (lights) as well as additional features (live electrical detection, bubble level, etc..). This product is just launching to stores now and the image will be updated shortly.
