Poor hanging set up.

The actual clips to hang them are ridiculous. Hung 7 shades and fought everyone. Poor design and production. Last 3 are just hanging not clipped in. I have built houses but cant make these work. Shades are fine.

A: The raise and lower is light. Recommend pull and raise from center. But, Yes, I find it stays in position.

Q: Can they be cut to 21 inch wide? And do you cut them?

A: There is a firm plastic bar at the base the width of the blind that can’t be cut. It is used for raising and lowering. I like this blind. It is different from a Venetian that can be seen through, but this one lets light through. The snap piece to install was a bit of a trick.

A: My guess is no. It's made of cellular paper and will get soaking wet attracting mold. It would probably rust and deteriorate over time too.
