Q: I currently have two screened but not touchscreen thermostats, one for upstairs and one for downstairs. They are by Honeywell and not Wifi or anything fancy as they are probably 10 years old. Would this product be able to replace both?

A: I had to upgrade my wiring to the thermostat from 2 wire to 4 wire and have a transformer installed to power the unit. Safe to say look at the manual on line and determine if it’s compatible with your system first. A professional can install it either way.

Q: can this item be installed without a C wire? I don't want to have to pay an electrician to put it in and our current thermostat doesn't have one!

A: Will work without C wire on system that heating and air conditioning but has trouble maintaining WIFI connection on single source such as a propane fireplace and you will have to remove battieries to reset each time it looses connection.

A: Hi Rikki, thanks for clarifying your question. The answer depends on your system configuration, if you have two separate systems (Furnace/AC) or if you have two different control zones using dampers, it would be necesary to replace with two thermostats as each one would manage one system with its own setpoints. If you only have one Furnace/AC system, it might be possible to control with just one thermostat. A: Hi artnik, thanks for your patience, due to a glitch this question was held unanswered. The Sensi Smart thermostat can be set from 8 C to 37 C as minimum and maximun setpoint respectively.
