Won't Stay On

Seeing all the positive reviews, I'm a little puzzled about my own experience with these. Namely, they won't stay on, they just slowly slide backwards and then fall off, no matter how they are adjusted. I bought two pairs, and had to return one as it wouldn't stay on my wife's head, and kept the other one only because it does work well when cycling as the helmet straps keep it in place. I would urge potential buyers to try the ear warmers on before purchasing, just to make sure they fit you and will stay on. Other than that, they are nice and warm!
