The Dyson V8™ Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum packs the power of a full-size vacuum into a lightweight, versatile design. Delivering up to 40 minutes of fade-free suction on both carpets and hard floors, this cordless powerhouse uses Dyson's advanced V8 motor to tackle tough messes. The motorized cleaner head digs deep to pull out hidden dirt, while tangle-free technology keeps hair jams at bay. With the combination tool, you can easily clean high and low, and it quickly transforms into a handheld for tackling upholstery, curtains and car interiors. Light in weight - heavy in workload

I bought this stick vac a few weeks ago and it is lightweight, easy to use and clean. Love the way it stacks in my cupboard and charges directly to the vac rather than taking the battery out to charge. The vac is easy to maneuver.

It’s a terrific vacuum cleaner: light, manoeuvrable, super efficient. I bought it as an extra for smaller jobs in a big house. It’s so easy to use, we’re using it all the time.

IT WAS A GIFT AND I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. IT IS LIGHTWEIGHT AND I LOVE THERE IS NO CORD TO DEAL WITH. IT IS EASY TO EMPTY. AND IT DOES A GREAT JOB IN CLEANING.

I have been buying dyson vacuum cleaners for, must be 20 years now, going from corded to cordless. Now have 4 I use inside the house.. 2 of which are v8. They are the perfect size and performance for daily cleans...and even bigger cleans. Very pleased wih them. Charge quickly, easy to handle, do an excellent job and good value. What's not to like. Competitive brands don't even come close.

Q: I have used my Dyson twice and both times it shuts off after a few minutes and won't start again for hours later, do you know what the problem is, is it the battery or a defective vacumn?

A: Mine also failed prematurely and I'm thoroughly disappointed. Battery is bad already, but I tried under warranty to call Dyson and I never could get a human to sort it out, so I became so infuriated that I gave up. This it the new warranty technique. Went and bought a Shark plug-in, forget batteries.

Q: Great vacuum but after a few months, the battery won’t hold a charge for longer than a few minutes and it pulses. Any advice?

A: It appears there may be a blockage in vacuum. Try checking the the vacuum head(s) and the steel tube for trapped dirt. This can also be caused by a dirty filter(s), or if one of the motorized brushes is prevented from spinning. Google also has plenty of advice avail.

A: We have a large long haired dog and 3 cats. Does a great job and like the beater bar on the animal. Hair doesn’t wind up on beater bar. I dump the bag every time. We love ours.
