These furnace filters work great!

They work just fine. I use to buy the more expensive filters from 3M that supposedly filtered out everything as they had a high Merv rating. My furnace guy told me to stop using them as they make your furnace work much harder due to their density. I switched to these cheaper ones and am very happy and so is my furnace.

Q: Is the Duststop Merv 6 filter Electrostatic? The Duststop website says it is, but there's no mention of this feature on Canadian Tire's site or the package.

A: This filter no longer uses electrostatic media but does offer similar performance with a lower resistance to airflow compared to the previous electrostatic version.
