I bought this to prevent heat loss under the couch. It certainly does what it is meant to do. Now our cat lies at the outlet of it and takes all the heat. Lol

The heat is on!

For years in one room a couch blocking a heat vent and in another an armoire blocking one. These little units worked like they said and do the job. It doesn't take as long for those rooms to heat up now, we'll see if they save any utility money, fingers crossed.

Don’t waste your money

Bought this vent extender along with another style and the latter product was 1/2 the price and 10x the quality. Pulled this out of the box and discovered it’s literally a sheet of cheap packaging plastic for $20. Could have rifled through my recycling bin and found something of similar quality and size for free, if I’d realized what cheap garbage this product is.

Q: Can two of these be combined to make it longer than 36" My vent is under my bed so I require an extension longer then 36", could I purchase 2 or more of these and connect them together?

A: Why not? Remove the upper "deflecting" section on the second unit, then a little duct tape to hold the two lower "extender" sections together... Or as many as you need. (Women find me handy.)

Q: Why is this listed under "Dryer Vents", when it's for your HVAC?

A: Hi George, I really can't tell you for sure why it's listed under "dryer vents", but I can tell you that I have one have one installed on a register under a couch and works very well. The only issue I've found is that it can easily be knocked off the register, but because it's under the couch that doesn't happen very often. I hope this helps.

A: Not recommended as this product is made from plastic and is not shatterproof

A: The Extend-a-Vent fits floor vents up to 10.75” in Width (27 cm) and the length is adjustable up to 36” in Length (91 cm.) It can be used either way.

Q: Can you bend these in any direction, or is it just a straight line?

A: This product is designed to extend in a straight line, however there is an option to cut the vent with a regular pair of scissors and place it over the register at a 90 degree angle. For more details and to see an example of this application, you can email marketing@dundasjafine.com.
