Hard to use

This product isn't really suitable for kitchen knives in my opinion. I just bought it and found it difficult to use as the knife blade needs to be pushed into the card sized sharpener. So far anyway, I can't stabilize the light card on a table (even on a wet paper towel) to permit this, and holding the card while pushing it into the blade risks cutting your fingers (but I did it anyway; no, fortunately I did' t cut my fingers). Results: ?

Q: What grit are the coarse, fine, and extra-fine cards?

A: Hi there, Coarse is 45 micron, 325 mesh Fine is 25 micron, 600 mesh Extra fine is 9 micron, 1200 mesh - Course(blue): Quickly brings back dull edges to the desired bevel and prepares for edge refinement. - Fine(red): For Everyday sharpening - all purpose restoring of edges. - Extra Fine(green): Polish and edge to a razor sharp finish.
