Dirt Devil True to Name

I bought this vacuum a year ago. Note that it costs about $55 in the US, which is also far too expensive. The vacuum creates more dust than it collects, each time I turn it on. It is not blocked (have done all the testing) and it leaves a heavy layer of dust throughout my home. I have, in fact, ordered another make entirely and this one is going in the trash. No, I don't want it fixed, I just want it gone.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Lourd et non efficace

Jai acheter cet aspirateur il y a moins d'un an et il est déjà dans les poubelles. TRES TRÈS LOURD , il m'a donner d'incroyables maux de dos . il faut toujours passer un bon coup de balais avant parcequil n'aspire RIEN.

Poorly made with an even poorer Warranty

I purchased this August 6th 2017 and the belt broke rendering it useless on October 2 2017. I maybe used the vacuum 7 times over that period. I am registered for their "warranty" so I contacted Dirt Devil and they told me belts weren't covered and they wear down over time. I explained how new this vacuum was and that I have hardly used it but the representative just kept repeating himself and told me I would have to buy a belt every time it breaks, which is obviously going to be VERY OFTEN. Don't buy this product, its just a money pit.
No, I do not recommend this product.

power button broke off easily

Bought it 2 months ago. The power button just broke off when tried to turn it on today, and the machine can't be started any more. If dirt devil can't make a plastic piece strong enough, why even bother with a step-on switch in the first place? Machines aren't supposed to break down in a couple of months. Very disappointed
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Does this vacuum work well on bare floors? Or is it designed to work on carpets only?

A: Yes it works on bare floors fairly well. We have wooden floors with area rugs. I have found that setting 2 is a good happy medium and I don't have to keep switching it constantly.

A: It's very good at picking up dirt on bare floors. However, if you have larger items on the floor (e.g. winter salt), I did notice that it will occasionally spit these back

Q: Why are pics different with the model in the flyer and the catalogue? RE the sale flyer for Oct 14, 2016 to Oct 20, 2016. the one is the catalogue which is the same price and comes up when you click "More Details" is obviously better quality than the one in the sale fler that has the same sku number.

The new Dirt Devil® Power Flex Pet has several upgrades such as Spin3 Pro™ Brushroll Technology (which uses two types of bristles to clean both carpet and hard floors), lightweight design (for easier carrying from room to room) and easy assembly (no tools needed).
