[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this impact driver for 6+ years and It is still kicking to this day. Used it as a hammer, dropped it from the top of ladders etc. This thing is a beast.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about 4 years ago. It came out of the box with a bad "electrical smell". I slapped a battery in it and went to the garage to test it out. The tool started smoking immediately. Later on, I went and bought the 3 speed XR impact, and it has been fantastic the past few years. I haven't bought a new impact since. Don't buy this tool. You will be disappointed.
