Well Constructed / Slight flaw

These containers are well constructed however they do fill up with water very very quickly so if you have a rain storm/event these quickly become water logged. I ended up having to drill holes through them to add drainage as my plants were quickly dying.

Incorrectly Advertised for Railings, not Fences

Product appears sturdy but does not fit the specified dimensions as it's designed for wood 2x4 (which do not measure 2"x4") fences or bannisters, not typical railings. Please revise product to mention it's designed for wooden fences built from 2x4s, railings and exact dimensions implies it will actually fit the specified size.

Q: How do you install rail planter. Does it need to be secured to rail somehow? The rail is slight more narrow than the planter opening.

A: Thank you for supporting our line of 100% Canadian Lawn & Garden products. Our Harmony Railing planter is designed to fit over a 2" x 4" railing. If your railing is of this size, then the planter should sit nicely on the rail and not require anything further as the weight from the soil and plants should hold it down. If your rail is narrower, then some type of shim may be needed, however we cannot guarantee it will not tip or come off due to the size difference.
