Decent Faucet, but Missing Hoses and Non-Standard Connections

The original price was $159.99, which I believe means the quality should be good. I bought this kitchen faucet during a Black Friday deal. The faucet works fine, and the water pressure is good.
However, it does not include the hot and cold water hoses and uses 3/8" connections instead of the standard size, which was not mentioned on the box, so we had to go out again to buy the hoses separately. The spray head also does not retract on its own; you have to push it back by hand (I’m a handy person. No matter how you set the weight underneath, it doesn’t work, you have to push it back by hand!!!).
Overall, the faucet looks good on the shell and has good water pressure, but the missing parts and non-standard fittings are inconvenient, and the spray head also does not retract which is odd.
I already did all the work to set it up, so I’ll keep using it. If I had known this beforehand, I probably wouldn’t have chosen this faucet.

Q: Once the spray function has been activated, does the head revert back to the stream function once the water has been turned off and then back on...

Q: Does the faucet handle to turn water on turn back? I have a ledge/wall behind my faucet and sink which doesn’t allow the handle to move back beyond the point that shows it the photos.Handle would have to be pulled to the right or pulled forward. Thanks
