Easy to install

I can only comment on the install and initial use of this tap. But this faucet was a breeze to install. The bracket that mounts to the sink was so easy to install. I was a bit dissapointed the pull down nozzle didn’t have a magnet in it to lock it into the faucet but the weight on the hose seems to do a great job anyway. The operation is as good so far as my $450 delta kitchen faucet.
I’m very happy so far but if it lasts will be the real test.

This faucet looks very nice and was very easy to install. The instructions are easy to follow and all the parts you need are in the box. I only have one complaint that is: the water comes out fast and you need to turn it down a bit or it will splash you.

A: The Supply Lines for 63-3189 are 29.5" (750mm) long. Hot and Cold Water supply lines are distinguished by blue and red mark.

A: Call the warranty number in your manual, they will send the cartridge to you. You can always check Canadian Tire for this cartridge.

Q: What is the warranty for this product? Canadian Tire advertises as special warranty, see store for details, but the cashier at purchase says that this item has no warranty! Does it mean that special warranty = no warranty? Is there a manufacturer warranty for this item?

Q: Is there a way to reduce water pressure? The water pressure for this faucet is so powerful that it sprays water everywhere. Is there a way to reduce the water pressure in the faucet itself?

A: Nothing more that what is inside the faucet itself. The only thing you can use to reduce the pressure is the control shut off valves under the sink.

A: No. For that faucet, you can't hock portable dishwashers to the spray head.

Q: Lock nut doesn't screw up shank The sink is thin because it is drop in. The lock nut doesn't screw up shank and lock nut screws are too short. And so, I can't secure shank. Any idea?

A: There is no special trick to install this model, you must be able to screw your lock nut to within 1/4" of the base, then you can screw your 2 screws in to level out the unit.

Q: How high is the fixed portion? I have wooden window shutters behind and above the sink, so any pull-down faucet would have to have a fully flexible vertical shaft, to function without interfering with the shutters!
