Great just 1 issue

Works great! arranging the shelving was the only pain due to lack of clear instructions. I had to watch a couple of you-tube postings, and figure it out just by observing the photos of the unit.

Amazing mini-fridge for some many different purposes

My 93 year-old mom recently moved into an Assisted Living solution where there is no kitchen in her suite. So, no fridge. This mini-fridge was a God-send as it provided her a spot to storing all of her Ensure, fruit cups, juice packages, etc. in an easy-to-access design with shelves for each of her items. And setting the temp was a breeze with a single dial setting.
We have the same unit in our man-cave for beverages and snacks like hummus, etc.
Wonderful device and has a really small footprint in your home but gives you the cooled products you want when you want it. Strongly recommended.

Proven reliable

Bough one for our daughter several years ago and it has performed well over the years. When it came time to replace our old unit (not a Danby) this became the logical one. Best price for the size and this one uses a compressor rather than a thermal electric cooling system. The placement of the thermostat is the only drawback otherwise it would have been a 5 star rating

A: A bit noisy yes. We have had it for 2 years sitting on top of a bar fridge so maybe that is why but not sure. Otherwise great for our wines.

A: I would not recommend it, even with moderate ventilation you risk the unit slowly overheating and shorten its life span. my unit is noisier than i would prefer, in a kitchen i think it would be annoying.

Q: Does anybody else's fridge produce a loud clanking noise when the compressor shuts off? I have tried two fridges of the same model and both exhibited the same noise. It's loud enough to be heard upstairs. It cycles every 20 minutes so is a bit annoying.
